Our Theme: Nursery Rhyme Fun

We have a busy week ahead; our Nursery Rhyme Unit continues this week with the children exploring and acting out Hickory Dickory Dock, Jack and Jill, and Humpty Dumpty. We are having fun with rhyming different words to help teach reading readiness. Please ask the children to recite the rhymes for you at home. In math we work on patterns, sorting, and counting to 20. We continue to practice name writing and recognition, cutting, and other fine motor skills. This week we learn about Ramadan, doing good for others during this special time, and share a traditional treat to celebrate.
