Our Theme: Nursery Rhymes
Over the next several weeks we will be exploring the wonderful world of Nursery Rhymes. We will be reciting, singing, and acting out all of our favorite rhymes. The children will work on and continue to strengthen their beginning letter sounds and rhyming skills. What a fun and educational unit as we transform into our favorite nursery rhyme characters. Through acting out the classic rhymes the children are building their self-confidence, as well as their verbal expression skills. This is such an enjoyable few weeks for all of us! We start off our unit this week with Pat-a-Cake, Mary Had a Little Lamb, The Itsy Bitsy Spider and Little Miss Muffet.
