Math:

This week we will begin our Measurement Unit. Each student will receive their own ruler. Throughout the week they will learn how to measure through:

With the help of the Alligator Game, we will continue to work on mastering the concepts of:

  • Greater Than
  • Less Than
  • Equal To

This week the students will also be doing work in the Read It! Draw It! Solve It! workbook:

Reading:

The reading groups read solo, in small & large groups and also one-on-one with me. Each child is evaluated on their understanding of the written word, ability to sound out the letters to form the words, as well as their fluency and inflection of the words in the sentences.
