Our Theme: Music Genres
We will finish talking about and listening to different types of instruments and begin to learn about and compare various genres of music. The children will explore Country, Pop, Latin, and Classical music and enjoy dancing, playing instruments, and engage in different forms of artistic expression while listening to a variety of music. This week we sort and classify according to different sizes; small, medium, and large. We continue to work on writing our names and strengthening our fine motor skills. Special News:
School is closed on Monday, February 21st in observance of President’s Day.
On Tuesday we will celebrate “Twosday, 2-22-22.” Please have your child wear tube socks, a tie, or a tutu to join in on our Twosday” fun! If anyone would like to bring in a “pair” of something to show at school or share snacks that come in “twos” with the class, that would be awesome!
Please remember the Covid slip for your child each morning.
