Our Theme: Love and Kindness
This week our theme will be about love. We will talk about who and what makes us happy and how to spread kindness and love to others. This is a wonderful week to incorporate many different Valentine’s Day crafts which strengthen fine motor and listening skills as well as following oral directions. We’ll be using glue, paint, crayons, and stickers to decorate Valentines.
We continue daily to review our letters, shapes, numbers, colors, days of the week and months along with singing the ABC phonics song to help develop letter and number recognition.
The children truly enjoy playing downstairs in the rec room where they get to use their imaginations in all the different play areas in that room. Gross motor activities are also conducted in this space.
