Our Theme – Valentines/Colors/Letter Review/Number 15
This week we will review the letters we learned to date and introduce the number 15. In addition, we will learn the “plus one” concept of addition. The children know all their colors, but we will reinforce color word recognition, so children master the color sight words. Our class will prepare for Valentine’s Day by reading a variety of books on this special loving holiday.
Pre K Literature:
- The Day It Rained Hearts By Felicia Bond
- Happy Valentine’s Mouse By Laura Numeroff

- A Rainbow of My Own By Don Freeman
- A Letter to Amy By Ezra Jack Keats
