Dear Pre- K Families,
This week we are focusing on the letter Rr, number 14 and colors. We will discuss primary and secondary colors as well as color words. We will be learning about Lunar New Year traditions.

Activities
Activities will include cleaning our class room as this is a traditional way to start the celebration of the Lunar New Year. We will also watercolor a beautiful Asian inspired image and create a red lantern for our Lunar New Year Celebration.
We will also be turning the letter R into a rainbow and create our letter Rr word list.
This week we are going to discuss the rainbow colors ROYGBV as well as primary and secondary colors.
We will create a Tie-Dye Towel Experiment that combines science, art & math. We are also going to create a potion using vinegar, food coloring, glitter and baking soda.
We are continuing our study of at words.

Tomorrow is a full day.
Tuesday school will be closed in celebration of Lunar New Year.
