Letter: Mm  / Number: 15
Theme: Presidents &100 days of School

Dear Pre-K Families,

I hope you enjoyed the long weekend.

This week we will be learning about the letter Mm, number 15, Presidents and Celebrate 100 days of School. 🎉

After reading our Alphatales “Monkey’s Miserable Monday“ we will create a new word wall list.

We will make our own unique letter M monsters, practice upper and lowercase Mm as well as discovering what 15 looks like and what numbers we can add together to make 15.

This week we will highlight and discuss George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and the important role these men had on our country.  During centers, students will be given writing prompts to what they would do if they were president. As I mentioned it’s also the 💯day of school on Wednesday and we will take this opportunity to count by 10’s to 100.   Create some fun crafts to celebrate this momentous day. We will continue to discuss basic math facts in addition and subtraction.+ /-/=

The letter in the spotlight this week is Mm and as always we will start our literature with AlphaTales:
