Our Theme: “Happy Hearts”
This week we will have fun getting ready for Valentine’s Day with all of our school friends. We will talk about love, friendship, and being kind! We discuss how we can keep our hearts healthy, by choosing healthy foods and exercising. The children will enjoy a heart alphabet and number hunt, practice name writing, cut hearts to strengthen fine motor skills, and learn some snappy tunes about love! We have been working daily on our letter recognition and sounds. Thank you for reinforcing this at home. We will enjoy our class Valentine’s Day Parties next Thursday and Friday. Please have the children wear red or pink on both days if possible.
