Pre-K Highlights for December 2nd – December 6th
Monthly Theme: Holidays
Letter: Ll

Dear Pre-K Families,
I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families! Thank you for your cooperation in making our morning transitions much smoother. The children are taking to it well and will only continue to encourage responsibility and prepare them for Kindergarten.
Our theme this month will be on the various holidays that are celebrated during December: Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. We will be working on various crafts and activities to introduce each holiday in keeping with our school’s multicultural curriculum.
The letter of the week is /Ll / and we will be introducing the number 7. In addition to our letter & number writing, word list and sound recognition exercises we will also be completing our “L” Ladybug craft. We will be reviewing the color green in both recognition and writing exercises.
