Week of December 2, 2019

Our Theme:  The Grocery Store

Now that Thanksgiving has winded down, and all the crops on the farm have been harvested, we will help the children discover what happens next; how food gets to the grocery store. We will discuss and explore what we know about the grocery store, various jobs within the grocery store, and share our own shopping experiences. This is a fun unit for the children to share stories with their peers, partake in imaginative/dramatic play, and help to make them more aware of the world around them. Please use your own shopping experiences with your children to further enhance this unit. We will play some engaging grocery learning games as we work on patterns, sorting, and counting too.
