Mrs. Cappelluti Week of October 21, 2019 Our Theme: Fall is Here: Apples, Apples, Apples!
As we further explore the Fall season, we will pretend to take a “train ride” and go “apple picking.” We will learn all about apples: different types, how they grow, and even be “scientists” and conduct an apple taste test to see which color the children like best. Our results will be graphed in class. We will work on some apple crafts, strengthen our counting skills with some fun apple games, and sing some silly apple songs too!Literature:
- I Am an Apple by Jean Marzollo
- Ten Red Apples by Pat Hutchins
- The Biggest Apple Ever by Steven Kroll
- Up, Up, Up It’s Apple Picking Time by Jody Fickes Shapiro
- The Apple Pie Tree by Zoe Hall
