Highlights for the Week of October 21st – October 25th Letter: Aa Number: 2/two
Hello Pre-K Families, This week our Letter of the Week is /Aa/ and the number is 2/two. On Monday we will read Alphatales:The Adventures of Abby Alligator by Maria Fleming and will create our class list of all things /Aa/. We will listen and sing-a-long to a “A” song and transform our letter /Aa/ into a beautiful surprise! We are still exploring the season of Autumn. We will be creating a “KWL Chart” to discuss what the children already “Know” about Autumn, what they “Want” to learn about Autumn and then what they have “Learned” about Autumn at the end of the week. This week we will discuss the changes in the environment and what it means for us. The children will make apple-scented play-dough, work on Autumn-themed painting, leaf rubbing art and collage activities from our nature walks. We will begin adding Weather to our Morning Meeting and begin to introduce the pledge of allegiance. We are certainly going to have a fun week! See you tomorrow, Mrs. MReminders:
