September 16, 2019 5:03 pm Dear Parents, We hope you had a great first week! The children are acclimating to school nicely. This week we will be making reusable placemats for the children to use during snack and lunch while in class. These activities will help strengthen their fine motor skills as well as their listening skills. The literature that we will be using for the first week is focusing on classroom routines, sharing, and separation:
* Watch Where You Go! : Sally Noll
* I’ll Always Come Back! : Steve Metzger
* One, Two, Three! : Sandra Boynton
* No More Hitting for Little Hamster! : Bernette Ford Reminders: Class pictures can be viewed on the Shutterfly link. Please send in one (1) 4×6 family photo as well as one (1) 4×6 individual photo of your child if you have not done so already. We strongly recommend that you leave your child after the drop off as it makes things easier for the child and for the class to establish routines. If you would like to send in a sweatshirt or light coat to keep here for outside play on the cool days. We hope that you had a wonderful weekend. We look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Warm Regards,

Lauren Lazzaro, Christina Sciascia & Kristin Tramutola
