Our Theme: Nursery Rhymes
We hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break. This week we finish up our Nursery Rhyme Unit with The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Baa Baa Black Sheep, and Little Miss Muffet. We will enjoy acting out, singing, and creating with these classic stories in mind. The children have really enjoyed the concept of rhyming; we have even been making up our own rhymes! Every day we see the class strengthening their letter recognition and letter sound skills! Please continue to reinforce this at home. It is so great to watch them grow both academically and socially!

Special News:
- Continue to dress for mess and outdoor fun (sneakers are best for the playground.)
- Our Mother’s Day Teas are on Friday, May 10th. We will have two assigned tea times. Girls tea will begin at 9:15am and boys tea will begin at 10:30am. Invitations will be sent home this week. This is a special time for the children and their Mommies. We look forward to having you join us! Please let us know if a guest other than Mommy will be joining in her place.
- Please return sleep mats.
- You may want to send in an extra water bottle for your child to keep in his/her cubby as the weather warms up.
