Week of April 8, 2019
Our Theme: Nursery Rhyme Fun
We have a busy week ahead; our Nursery Rhyme Unit continues this week with the children exploring and acting out Hickory Dickory Dock, Jack and Jill, and Humpty Dumpty. We are having fun with rhyming different words to help teach reading readiness. In math we work on patterns, sorting, and counting to 20. We continue to practice name writing and recognition, cutting, and other fine motor skills. The children are getting ready for our Art Festival on Thursday from 5-6:30pm, we hope to see you there.

Special News:
- With warm weather approaching, please remember sneakers are best for the playground and you may want to send in an extra water bottle for your child.
- Save the Dates: On Friday, 5/10 we will have our Mother’s Day Tea. Friday, 6/14 will be our graduation day. Times and invitations to follow.
- Scholastic Book orders due by 4/18.
- If you’d like to celebrate an upcoming birthday in class please let us know!
- No school 4/19-4/26 for Spring Break. School reopens on Monday, 4/29.
