Week of March 25, 2019
Theme: Spring Fun
This week we focus on fun spring activities. The children plant seeds in class and try to grow our very own spring flowers; we explore what makes flowers grow and how we care for them. This week we learn all about butterflies and their lifecycle. We review the four seasons and their similarities and differences. In math, we count and add ladybugs, and sort spring flowers according to size and color. In science, we mix various colors to use for our spring painting. We continue to strengthen our fine motor skills by cutting spring grass, tracing spring objects, and making flowers with model magic. The children will enjoy visits from their buddies on Tuesday and Wednesday for Breakfast With Buddies.
