Mrs. Cappelluti
Week of February 25, 2019
Our Theme: Music Genres
We will finish up talking about and listening to different types of instruments, and begin to learn about and compare various genres of music. The children will explore Country, Pop, Latin, and Classical music and enjoy dancing, playing instruments, and engage in different forms of artistic expression while listening to a variety of music. This week we sort and classify according to different sizes; small, medium, and large. We continue to work on writing our names and strengthening our fine motor skills. We are working hard to identify our letters and letter sounds. Please visit YouTube.com “Phonics Song 2,” to reinforce at home what we teach in class. This week we introduce Dr. Seuss and celebrate his birthday.
