Mrs. Cappelluti
Week of February 11, 2019
Our Theme: Music
In the coming weeks we will be exploring many different aspects of music. We will learn about various musical instruments, discuss different genres of music, express how certain music makes us feel, even make our very own instruments! Music is very important and helpful in enhancing skills relating to patterns and math, developing listening and concentration, and promoting self and artistic expression. This is a wonderful unit and the children love every minute of it! This week will also include our Valentine celebrations on Wednesday and Thursday(please wear red or pink), and a visit from the Jenkinson’s Aquarium penguins on Wednesday!
