January 22, 2019 4:02 pm Mrs. Cappelluti Week of January 22, 2019 Our Theme: Hibernation & Bears   The children are very excited about the winter season. This week we begin to explore some interesting things animals do in winter, most importantly hibernation. The children will enjoy making their own caves for their hibernating bears. We will sort and count bears, create bear patterns, go on a bear letter hunt, learn some cute bear tunes, and even hibernate like a bear does. We will be wrapping up our winter theme this Thursday and Friday, with a Teddy Bear Hibernation Pajama Party! Please send your child to school dressed in their pajamas (if they feel comfortable) and with their favorite teddy bear! Each of our furry friends will be going home with a special award.   Literature:
