Week of January 14, 2019
Our Theme: Winter Fun
This week we will focus on winter fun. We will “ice skate” in class, have fun cutting “snow balls,” paint with “hot cocoa,” and sing and dance the “Snowkey Pokey.” In science, we will make our own snow and look at the scientific changes that take place when ice melts. In reading readiness, the children will strengthen their first and last name recognition. In math, we count “snowballs” up to number 20, maybe even higher! We will finish off the week with a hot cocoa party!
