December 3, 2018 5:27 pm Mrs. Cappelluti   Week of December 3rd, 2018 Our Theme:  The Grocery Store   Our “Grocery Store”’ is ready for business! The children have enjoyed watching our dramatic play area transform into our very own class Supermarket!  Our “class delivery truck” filled with groceries will be driven to the “grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony!” We will explore and role-play the different jobs within a supermarket.  Learning fun includes sorting by size (small, medium and large boxes), counting (our pretend money to pay for the groceries), and most importantly, taking turns within our supermarket (to help better develop self-regulation skills.)  This week we celebrate Hanukkah in class, spin the dreidel, and enjoy lots of Hanukkah fun.   Literature: Ten Items or Less by Stephanie Calmenson Hey Pancakes by Tamson Weston Little Pea by Amy Krouse Rosenthal If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Numeroff If You Give a Moose a Muffin by Laura Numeroff   Special News:
