Pre-K Highlights
Week of November 19th – November 23rd
Weekly Letter: Ll
Weekly Theme: Giving Thanks
Dear Pre-K Families,
This will be a short week at TCLA. Conferences are Monday and Tuesday which are also half days, and we do not have school Thursday and Friday. Class will end at 12:15 on Monday and Tuesday; aftercare will be offered until 5.
We have chosen to save our last “straight-line” letter for this week as it should not be difficult for the students based on prior experience. When we return from Thanksgiving break we will continue with “curved line” letters. Please continue to review both the letters and numbers we have learned with your child at home.
This week we will make letter L’s using play doh and beads, handwrite both upper and lowercase L’s, stamp corn outlines with legos, create a thankful tree, and discuss the true meaning of being Thankful.

Reminders:
- Conferences are Monday and Tuesday. Class will dismiss at 12:15. Aftercare will be provided until 5.
- Our Feast is Wednesday! Please remember to send in warm items hot because we can not re heat in school.
- Scholastic book orders are due soon. Take a look at the holiday packs. • School will be closed Thursday and Friday. Happy Thanksgiving!
- Our school-wide holiday party will be December 8th 12:00-3:00. This is an open house so all are welcome! This years theme is The Incredibles.
