November 19, 2018 7:37 pm Mrs. Cappelluti Week of November 19, 2018 Theme: Giving Thanks   What a busy and wonderful month! We are reminded every day how much we have to be thankful for. This week we get ready for Thanksgiving! We are busy sharing what we are thankful for and understanding how the Pilgrims and Native Americans came together to celebrate with food and friends. We continue to work on our number and letter recognition with some fun turkey games and songs, and the children are putting the finishing touches on some adorable Thanksgiving crafts.   Literature: Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks by Margaret Sutherland Thanksgiving is Here! By Diane Goode The Night Before Thanksgiving by Natasha Wing   Special News:  
  1. Monday and Tuesday will be our Parent Teacher Conferences with dismissal at 11:30am. If you haven’t signed up for a conference and would like to, please let me know.
  2. Our Thanksgiving Feasts will take place this Tuesday and Wednesday. No need to send in morning snack on these days. Thanks to those who have signed up to contribute. The children are very excited.
  3. Save the date: Our TCLA Holiday Party will be on Saturday, December 8th from 12-3pm. Details to follow.
  4. No school this Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving break.
  5. There are no fun clubs on Monday and Tuesday this week due to Parent Teacher Conferences.
  6. We will be collecting for our food drive through Wednesday. Our box is filling up and we are all very proud that we are helping others. ☺
