Week of November 12, 2018
Theme: Harvest and Getting Ready for Thanksgiving
For the next two weeks we will discuss the importance of Thanksgiving. We focus on who and what we are thankful for during this special time of the year. The children will learn how the Pilgrims and Native Americans came together and became friends to share a great feast. We begin to get ready for our own class feasts that will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday. This week we will work together to make our very own “Turkey Day Teamwork Mix” and “Pumpkin Pie in a Bag.” These are both fun and yummy activities for the children to enjoy and share at home with their families. We are also busy with name recognition, counting in Spanish, and learning our letters and their sounds.
