Happy November! It seems like we are turning the calendar pages at such a quick pace at this point. Once Halloween is over, it’s a fast slide into Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas. But a wonderful and joyous slide it is!

We had some of the best Halloween parties this year! Thanks to our wonderful class moms pitching in and helping our children, they had such a memorable day. We truly appreciate your parental support and participation.
A Short Week
Just a reminder that we will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 8th and 9th. We offer a holiday camp. Ms. Kasey will be here at school from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to help our working parents. We have limited spots left. If you need this service next week, please let Lisa know. We charge a very nominal fee of $25/day.
Guest Speaker – Dental Health – Monday, November 5th, 10:00 am
We will be hosting a dentist from Tots To Teens & In Bee-Tween Dentistry who will be presenting to your children the importance of good dental care. I understand that a tooth fairy might make an appearance as well. Ask you children about the program.
A Visit from Marlboro Fire Department – Wednesday, November 7th, 10:00 am
What a busy week we will be have next week! One of the kids’ favorite things is the annual visit from Marlboro’s firemen who come in their fire truck. The firemen talk to the children about fire safety, and they are able to see the fire truck up close and personal! This is a good time of the year to check the batteries in your smoke detectors. Also, does your family have a plan in case of fire? You should make one.
Parent/Teacher Conferences – Monday and Tuesday – November 19th and 20th – One Session Days.
Our teachers will be holding parent/teacher conferences on November 19th and 20th. These days will be one-session days. School will be in session for the children in the morning. In the afternoon, the teachers will be meeting with parents to report on your child’s progress and discuss any concerns or questions you may have. Teachers will post a sign-up sheet for you to select a time that is convenient for you to come in and meet with the teacher. For our working parents, we will have after care from 12:00 until 5:00. Please let Lisa know if you will need after care on those two days.
Happy Thanksgiving – School Closed on Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd
Our teachers will organize a delicious Thanksgiving Feast for our children to have at school. It is a fun day and a good way to celebrate with friends.
We will be closed on the 22nd and 23rd to allow our families the time to celebrate the beautiful holiday of Thanksgiving. Enjoy!
