October 29, 2018 3:26 pm   Mrs. Cappelluti Week of October 29, 2018    Our Theme: Halloween Fun   We will have lots of Halloween learning and fun this week. Our class will enjoy creating pumpkins using various tactile materials. We look forward to our Halloween parades and class celebrations on Tuesday and Wednesday, including games such as Halloween Bingo and Pin the Nose on the Jack-o-Lantern!  In class we will talk about and practice safe Trick-or-Treating. The concept of small, medium, and large will be introduced to help with math readiness skills. In science we experiment mixing the colors red and white to produce orange. The children will also work on their letter sounds in fun, Halloween style!   Literature: Pumpkin Heads by Wendell Minor The Pumpkin Patch by Margaret McNamara Woo The Not So Scary Ghost by Ana Martin Larranga Shake Dem Halloween Bones by W.
