Our Theme: Welcome Farm
This week we finish up embracing the fall season and welcome our farm unit! After enjoying the farm visit on Friday, we are ready to investigate and discover many things about farm animals and farm life in the coming weeks. We will brainstorm together to answer questions such as: What do we already know about farm animals? What do we want to learn about them? The children will enjoy creating various crafts, sing farm songs, and engage in dramatic play pertaining to life on a farm. We will also begin working on our counting/number skills and our letter recognition by using different farm games and manipulatives in the weeks ahead.
